Paradise

Is a beach just what dictionary claims it to be: “a pebbly or sandy shore, especially by the sea between high- and low-water marks”?

Of course not! It’s heaven on earth. PARADISE!

I mean, what is summer without water? Well, I live in a non-coastal area, so I generally spend summer in the swimming pool. But, it can’t be compared to a beach.

The best part of a beach is that we can literally do anything!

Playing in the sand and making sandcastles is one of my favourite pastimes. It’s so much fun to do that. Once, I told my brother to lie in the sand and covered his whole body (except his face of course) with sand! It was so exciting!

Another thing I love to do is collect seashells. They are of so many different shapes and sizes. Stars, cups, hearts. They’re just wonderful!

Sometimes we go to the beach, just to enjoy the sun. So, I sit and sunbathe, read a book or listen to music. Honestly, it’s so relaxing. It’s way more relaxing than sitting on the bed in an air-conditioned room. These are one of those joys that tranquilize the mind✨.

Recently, I went to visit my aunt who lives in Australia, and we went to have a picnic on the beach. My cousins, brother and I played volleyball and splash (it’s not really a game, we just splashed water on each other!).

Then, we went and sat on the shallow part of the water and just enjoyed the friendly shove of the waves.

The next morning, I woke up early, in fact, the earliest because no one was up yet. So, I went out for a walk on the beach. It’s so blissful, for it was just me, the waves and the sun – all alone.

And last, but not the least, watch sunsets! The best place to watch sunsets is probably Key West, the southernmost tip of Florida (I’m telling from experience).

Now, let’s go on to the best beaches to visit!

1. Anse Source D'Argent

Consider the most beautiful beach in the world. This is it! A scenic beach: sparkling waters lapping on the soft white and warm sand, the air being salt-tinged, being surrounded by the coconut trees and looking above at the dreamy clouds.

2) Maundays Bay, Anguilla

It is a beautiful white-sand crescent-shaped beach present in Anguilla which is an island in the eastern Caribbean Sea. The calm bluish-green waters definitely have an effect on the visitors.

3) Bondi Beach, Australia

It is a beach on one of the suburbs of Sydney, Australia. And I must say, from personal experience, it is a very crowded beach. You’ll have to make sure to go there early in the morning.

4) Anse Lazio, Praslin Island, the Seychelles

With reflecting waters, coconut trees and warm sands, this beach is well-known for its serenity and tranquility.

 5) Shipwreck (Navagio) Beach, Zakynthos, Greece

Look at this picture. Doesn’t look real, does it? This beach seems imaginary, like a painting. Fortunately, no, this is absolutely real!

So, well, I guess these are the top five beaches of the world (according to me!)

Aren’t beaches absolutely wonderful?

Charming, stunning, heavenly, beguiling, aesthetic and I could just go on and on and on…

A real paradise they are…
