Yet Another Grievance

What might be the grievance I’m talking about? Could it be a late submissions, scratches, absence in a party or other bigger sorrows such as fractures, breakups, rejections or a big fight?
Nope, actually not.
The grievance that I am talking about is far bigger than injuries, relationship crisis or failures.
It’s about life and death.
I’m talking about coronavirus.

Coronavirus started as an outbreak in Wuhan, then as an epidemic (in China) and now finally as a pandemic. The difference between an epidemic and pandemic is that an epidemic is spread only in a given area, max to max a country. On the other hand pandemic is an epidemic that spreads through other continents and affects large number of people.

At this point, there can be a variety of three different thoughts in your mind.
First, ‘Coronavirus doesn’t have that many cases in the nation and over the world. Anyways, it depends on my fate whether I would get coronavirus or not, so there is no point of worrying.’
Second, ‘I will take precautions and nothing will happen to me so no need to panic.’
Third, ‘Oh my God! Don’t remind me of this. I’m really tense. What if my loved ones and I get coronavirus.’

So, my blog is for those of you who have thoughts similar to the third one. I would start my asking,
How would worrying help you and others?
Yes, it won’t help anyone, instead it would lead others to worry.
Now, that you have stopped worrying, take precautions. Sanitize your hands and wash them on regular bases, stay hydrated, exercise for at least one hour everyday, avoid crowd and large gatherings.

Let’s now move on to the most important part. We all know that in life there is a 5% probability for something bad to happen.
So, keep your fingers crossed but just in case, live life to the fullest. Enjoy every moment. I know that many people don’t like to study or work. But, love what you do and do what you love. Be happy and enjoy work, sports, playing, gossiping and focus on your hobbies, goals and ambition.

Many of you must have heard about the movie ‘The Sky Is Pink’ and some of you must have even seen the movie. It’s about a girl, Aisha Chaudhary who has SCID(severe combined immunodeficiency). At age of 6 months, she underwent a bone marrow transplant. There was a side effect of this and when she was 13 years old she got pulmonary fibrosis. Aisha died when she was 18 years old, but she never gave up on her happiness. She could have just stayed in bed and sulk because she was going to die. However, she stayed happy and lived her life in those 18 years.

Let’s take inspiration from her and live life to the fullest. Remember, whatever may happen , never let anything or anyone take away your smile. We are the driver of the car of your life and not the passenger. Keep that in mind.

Actually I should change the heading from ‘Yet another Grievance’ to ‘Yet another chance to smash grievances on their faces’
