Keep this subject out of my syllabus and.... keep it in my diary?

(The above line is kind of a half truth)

Hi everyone!

I hope you all are doing great!

I'm sure many of you have read my blog Kick this subject out of my syllabus, today!

I had written it in seventh grade. It is one of my oldest and most popular of posts.

I did something big, something that my seventh grade self would have found revolting. And today I am going to share it with you.

Recently, I wrote a five thousand words story called A Hero in Making for a story writing competition. It was a huge competition and people up to the age of thirty years could participate.

Of course my competition was huge! However, even if I do not win, I am extremely proud of myself.

I wrote a story of the genre historical fiction. (I myself cannot believe it!)

It is about the protagonist, Abhi who experiences many events after he turns thirteen. His country is ruled by the Britishers in the early twentieth century. After an extremely traumatic experience, he goes on a journey to find a Mahatma (saint), who is said to possess magical powers.

After he meets the Mahatma, his life changes completely. When on a journey with him, he discovers his purpose in life and finds his passion.

After completing it, I was so shocked that I had written it. I thought it wasn't too good, just average, but when I showed it to my parents and friends, they told me that they had loved it.

I still can't believe it. Writing a historical fiction and acing it. Wow, I can't stop pinching myself. šŸ˜

Anyhow, all I wanted to do this month was to tell you about this. After all, you all know very well how much I hate cramming history.

I want to share one more thing with you. Many of you told me that weren't comfortable reading Pained from the blog and Wattpad. So, I am going to publish the story on Wattpad. Don't get me wrong, I completely love my blog, it's just that the chapters over there are more systematic.

Here is page on my blog where I will will pasting all the links: https://ditisfascinatingworld.blogspot.com/p/pained.html

Anyways, I hope you are enjoying Pained and its storyline. This month, I really want to know which blog has been your favourite of all the 37 I've written (including this one).

Sorry for this month's blog being so short, I have been so engrossed in writing Pained that I didn't get much time. Plus my exams were also going on. But, I promise you guys that I'm going to come with an amazing topic for October, so stay tuned!

A little reminder that you guys are important! Never change for anyone elsešŸ˜‡

Good day and toodles
