Question of the day: how to trick a genie?🧞
Yesterday, the most bizzarrest of things happened. I found this beautiful lamp tucked in between some old sheets and boxes in my store room.
It looks just like Aladdin's lamp! This led me to think, 'What if this is Aladdin's lamp?!'
It was very dirty of course, but I was afraid to rub it. What on earth would I wish for?
I'm not greedy or anything, but what would the three best wishes even be?
After brainstorming, drawing mindmaps and writing in my journal for days, I finally came upon the three perfect wishes to ask the genie.
Let's look at the rules of the genie first.
The first rule says that I cannot kill anyone. I'm fine with that. I don't really want to kill anyone. Now, a rule similar to that is I cannot bring back anyone back from dead.
So the first wish could be: I want me and my loved ones to be healthy and not die until we've served our purpose. The trick here is that as one thing comes after the next, humans don't really finish their purpose, like ever. After I've completed school, there might college, after that a job and so on. In others words, me and my loved ones will be healthy and immortal.
Now some of you may say, "Immortality may not be good." or "I don't want to be immortal." or "I don't want to live forever!"
Relax. It totally and completely and fully depends on you! It's all a game of purpose, remember!
The next rule was that I couldn't make anyone fall if love with me.
The wish here may vary from person to person.
Personally, I don't believe in fate or the my entire life has already been written out and I can't change a thing belief. But, I do believe in meant to be's.
So, the second wish could be: I wish to live happily with the person I'm meant to be with."
For some of you, the wish could be, "I wish to end up with someone who takes care of me" or "I wish to be with someone who makes me happy."
As I said, this wish may vary upon your beliefs and interesting. This wish may not even be romantically driven. It could be anyone, honestly.
Moving on to the last wish, and personally, my most important one.
I have a bucket list, a big, big bucket list. It includes, things I want to do, experiences I want to experience, places I want to go to, goals I wish to achieve and so much more!
Instead of asking for a single dream of mine to be fulfilled, I can make the genie make all my deepest of wishes come true. And how can I do that?
The last wish of course!
"I wish to cross off my bucket list."
Wait! Wait wait wait! The genie could trick me, by crossing all things off my bucket list by a pen. I have to rephrase the sentence.
How about, "I wish to fulfill all items from my bucket list"? Yes, that sounds goods.
So, there you go! This was me, trying to trick a genie. That was really fun. I just wish that genie is a friendly one.
Now that I've finally figured all the three wishes, I'm going to go rub the lamp.
But, before I go, I wish you an amazing evening (/morning/afternoon/night)!
And just remember, that we are our own genies. Except for being immortal, we can have a control on all other things. After all, our life is what we make it, isn't it?✨
See you all! xoxo<3
